Privacy Policy

POLITIKUS ("we", "us") is operated by NAKVIRAL SDN. BHD. This policy explains what we collect when you play, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, display name, and password (stored only as a secure hash — we never see it in plain text).
- Gameplay: the predictions you lock in, the points you earn, and your leaderboard standing.
- Content: comments you post on contest discussions.
- Diagnostics: basic technical data (app version, device model, crash logs) to keep the app working.
What we do not collect
No precise location, no contacts, no photos. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with any political party, candidate, or campaign. Your predictions are game entries — not polling data tied to your identity.
How we use it
To run the game (settle predictions, award points, show your display name on the leaderboard), to run the monthly contest (contact winners via their account email), to support you when you write in, and to fix crashes and bugs.
Sharing
We share data only with the service providers that host and run POLITIKUS (under contract, for that purpose alone) and where the law requires it. There is no advertising in the app.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile > Delete account — this permanently removes your account, prediction history, and points. You can also request deletion by emailing support@politikus.com. (See politikus.com/delete-account for step-by-step instructions.)
Your rights
Under the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you may request access to or correction of your personal data, and withdraw consent to its processing, by contacting support@politikus.com.
Children
POLITIKUS is not directed at children. The monthly contest is open only to players aged 18 and above.
Changes
If this policy changes we'll update it here, with the date above. Material changes are announced in the app.
